EXPERIENCE

Office Manager
As office manager, I oversee a staff of 10 clerks which are responsible for functions such as: payroll, data processing, order management, transportation services, claims, setting up/closing routes, accounts payable, and more. I ensured that we were on top of promptly closing routes, minimizing claims through continual communication, and being on time with accounts payable. In 2021, I created True Value Media, which was a powerful and engaging multimedia tool for company training, recognition, and communication. This led to corporate projects being requested by executive leadership both within the organization and to communicate important messages to our retailers.

Systems Administrator
Through effective time management and process improvements, I was offered the additional position of Systems Administrator with True Value Company in 2020. As SA, I am responsible for maintaining all equipment that is connected to the network such as Zebra order fill equipment, computers, printers, network servers, access points, telecommunications, and more. Through my direct efforts, we transitioned our printers to a centralized print server system (which was then rolled out to other RDC’s in the company) and reduced print costs and storage space by scanning and converting all records to electronic OCR format.

Solely in charge of this $2MM annual sales operation including hiring, orientation, staff placement and development, scheduling and payroll, disciplinary issues, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Voted #1 store in the company for customer service for two years in a row. In 2016, my store had the highest internal audit score in the entire company. Training for District Manager position. After leaving in 2008 for a business manager position, I was welcomed back in 2015 where I resumed my position as a GM.

As a member of the board, I have volunteered my expertise in creative media to refresh the brand identity of the organization and improve the public perception of the foundation.
